We love our nature and take it seriously. Therefore, we ask you to properly separate your waste: plastic, residual waste, and organic waste.

Arriving by car? In case of heavy snowfall, snow chains (or at least four-wheel drive) are recommended. Parking is available, and the slopes right outside the front door mean your car can also have a holiday.
Arriving by train? Taxis are available at the train station for a shuttle.
We would be happy to advise you on bus connections.
Your super-comfortable apartment will be ready for you from 3 p.m. on your arrival day. Check-out on your departure day is by 10 a.m.
A day in the mountains naturally calls for a wonderful breakfast. And because we like things simple and easy, you can simply order breakfast as you please, or skip it altogether. Whatever you prefer.
Breakfast is served in the living room. Of course, homemade bread from our neighboring farm is a must. Grandma Friederike has made jam. And of course, there's also butter, cheese, ham, muesli, and yogurt, as well as a few vitamins in the form of vegetables. Egg dishes are freshly prepared and brought to the table. And for those with a sweet tooth, pancakes are also available. Vegan breakfasts are available upon request.

If you prefer some peace and quiet in the morning, you can of course also order just pastries from us and prepare your own breakfast in your apartment.
Please note – reservations and orders for both breakfast and pastries are required by 4 p.m. the day before.

Our good old parlor, in its new splendor, was and still is the heart of the house. This is where we have breakfast, where we meet, and if you want to sit together in the evening, you are welcome to do so. We are considerate of all other guests in the house and behave as we would like others to behave.
We trust you: If you like really good wine, the Holzhackerin is the right place for you—we love good wine, and that's why we've ordered some good wine for you, too. There's a wine fridge in the parlor, which is self-service when no one is there. We trust you! Please just make a note at reception of what you've taken, and we'll all be fine.
By the way: Of course, we also have beer, lemonades and small snacks here.
Of course, we heat up our rustic tiled stove properly in winter!
Our kitchens are fully equipped with an oven and stove, various cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes, kitchen roll, dish hangers, garbage bags, dishwashing liquid, and dishwasher powder.
Upon arrival you will also find ground coffee, tea, salt, pepper and sugar.
Coffee:
There is a French press in every apartment – add coffee grounds, pour, wait a moment, press down and enjoy.
We also serve freshly ground coffee from our special coffee house around the corner.
If you fancy a cup of coffee from the coffee machine in the living room, you're welcome to make one there. And if Sylvia is out and about, the same applies here: We trust you... take your coffee with you and write it down.
You can conjure up a wonderful dinner in peace and quiet in the fully equipped kitchens.
Also super cozy: simply borrow a fondue set from us and conjure up an unforgettable, relaxed evening in your apartment.

- a good cream and sunscreen for the time in the mountains

- Toiletries (you'll find completely sustainable shampoo & shower gel in our bathrooms!)
- Snow chains or all-wheel drive in winter
- possibly hiking poles & a good backpack
What can stay at home:
- Board games & playing cards are available in our parlor
- Laptop (if not absolutely necessary)
If you have any questions, Sylvia and her staff are always happy to help you from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or whenever they're busy). However, if the reception isn't staffed because we're currently enjoying our beautiful surroundings, please feel free to call us.
At our house, you can strap on your skis right outside the front door and then head off to the slopes. Yeah, how cool!
In summer, your bike will find plenty of space in the bike room and there are also power sockets for your e-bike.

Traveling by electric car? We have power outlets available in our parking lot.
A deposit of €40% will be collected upon booking via online transaction. The remaining balance is payable on-site in cash, by debit card, or credit card.
If something happens, the following cancellation conditions apply in 1TP3D of the total price:

The only thing that smokes inside is the tiled stove! Seriously, our apartments and the living room are non-smoking, and there's no getting around that. If you feel like it, please go outside to the terrace or balcony. If we detect indoor smoking, an additional €100 cleaning fee will be added to your room bill.
We love dogs, especially because our house and farm dog, Annabelle, is so sweet. Our apartment is available for guests with dogs. “The charming one” We ask for your understanding that dogs cannot be left alone in the apartment. A fee of €15 per night per dog is charged.
Are you staying longer and would like your apartment cleaned in between? No problem. We're happy to provide smart cleaning in between.
